The First Step
In 14 business days, you'll know precisely where your brand appears — and doesn't appear — when your buyers ask AI systems who to trust in your category. And you'll have a specific plan to close the gaps.
What's Included
Section 01
AI Citation Baseline
40–60 queries tested manually and via tool across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot. Queries are mapped to the client's specific category, buyer pain points, and competitive landscape — not generic search terms. Documents exactly where the client appears, where they don't, and where competitors are being cited instead, broken down by platform and by query type.
Section 02
Technical Readiness Assessment
30-point rubric covering: AI bot crawlability (robots.txt, sitemap, LLMs.txt), structured data implementation and completeness, Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), mobile performance, JavaScript rendering analysis, internal linking architecture, entity clarity across the site, and page speed against 2026 thresholds. Every item is pass/fail with a specific remediation note — not a vague recommendation.
Section 03
Entity Authority Analysis
Whether the brand exists as a recognised entity in Google's Knowledge Graph. Wikipedia and Wikidata presence assessment. NAP and brand information consistency across the web. How AI systems currently understand and describe the brand versus how the brand describes itself. Where inconsistencies create citation risk — the specific domains and directories where data conflicts undermine entity recognition.
Section 04
Competitor Intelligence
Three closest competitors mapped across the same 40–60 queries. Where they appear that the client doesn't. Which content formats, topics, and page structures are earning AI citations in the category. Gap analysis ranked by impact-to-effort ratio — not an exhaustive list of everything that could theoretically be done, but a specific prioritised view of where the highest-leverage opportunities are.
Section 05
Prioritised 90-Day Roadmap
A specific action plan built from what Sections 1–4 found. Items ranked by impact-to-effort ratio. Includes time estimates, dependency mapping, and an indication of which items can be executed independently versus which require ongoing agency support. The final page contains a one-paragraph retainer proposal if the scope warrants continued engagement.
Delivery
The Report
A structured PDF document covering all five sections. Formatted for internal distribution — clear enough that a CMO can share it with a CEO or board without needing to translate it. Every finding is specific to the client. No templated recommendations that could apply to any business.
The Walkthrough
A 60-minute recorded video walkthrough of the report's findings, recorded by the lead strategist. Available to share internally with stakeholders who weren't on the original call. Covers every section, explains every finding in plain language, and closes with the specific roadmap priorities.
The Roadmap
The 90-day action plan extracted from the full report. Formatted as a standalone document for use in internal planning. Specific items, specific timelines, specific owners (agency vs. client vs. shared). Usable independently of whether a retainer follows.
The Retainer Proposal (if applicable)
If the scope warrants a retainer engagement, a specific proposal is delivered within five business days of the audit. Built from the audit findings — not a standard package. Includes scope, timeline, investment, and the three metrics that will be reported monthly.
Book the Audit
The Audit is CAD $3,500. It maps your current AI citation presence across five platforms, identifies the specific gaps, and delivers a prioritised action plan in 14 business days.
Submit the form below and we'll confirm your booking within one business day.
If the fit is confirmed, an invoice for CAD $3,500 is sent within 24 hours. The 14-business-day clock starts when payment is received.
An intake form is sent following payment to collect the access credentials and context needed to run the audit.
The audit is delivered on day 14. A walkthrough call is scheduled for day 16–18 to review findings and answer questions.
Common Questions
Following payment, an intake form is sent covering: your three to five primary category queries (the questions your buyers typically ask), your top three competitors, access to Google Search Console (view only), and access to GA4 (view only). CRM access is not required for the audit — it becomes relevant only if a retainer follows.
If your brand already has strong AI citation presence, Brands with genuinely strong AI citation presence across all five platforms are rare at this stage — but if the audit finds the situation is better than expected, the roadmap reflects that. You still receive a full competitive benchmark and technical assessment, which has value regardless of the citation baseline.
No. The audit is a standalone product priced independently of any retainer. It is designed to be valuable independently — some clients use the roadmap to execute the work themselves or with other agencies. The audit fee is not deducted from a retainer if one follows.
The audit fee is non-refundable once work has begun. If concerns arise after payment but before work begins (within 24 hours of invoice payment), contact hello@meridiansearch.io.
Intake form completion is required within 48 hours of payment. If intake is delayed, the 14-day clock starts from intake completion, not payment. Concurrent audits are limited to ensure every audit receives the attention the scope requires — if capacity is constrained, this is disclosed at booking.
